POWER OUTAGE – DECEMBER 22

Please be advised that Kyuquot Power Ltd. (“KPL”) is aware of the power outage for the following area: INDIAN RESERVE L3, 8 HENKOUUS WAY, FAIR HARBOUR RD, 0 block UPPER LEVEL RD, 0 block UPPER LVL OCLUCJE RESERVE, ZEBALLOS, 100 – 800 block MAQUINNA AVE, 100 block KHEN KOUS PL, OCLUCJE RESERVE LOT 3, BAC BARR CREEK.

The outage is still under investigation and no crews have been dispatched as of 8:27am PST.

We will keep you updated as we receive more information.

NOTICE OF PLANNED OUTAGES

DECEMBER 9, 2025 and DECEMBER 10, 2025

Please be advised that Kyuquot Power Ltd. (“KPL”) has planned outages during the daylight hours for two (2) hours on Tuesday December 9, 2025 and for eight (8) hours on Wednesday December 10, 2025 to facilitate upgrade work on the powerline near the turnoff to Ouclije. The outage will affect all KPL customers. The outages will occur during the daylight hours with actual times of the outage dependent upon co-ordination of third parties but is likely to occur between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm each day.

KPL will provide further information should the planned outage be cancelled or rescheduled.

Please be advised that the BC Hydro has advised Kyuquot Power Ltd. (“KPL”) of a planned BC Hydro power outage affecting Tahsis, Zeballos and Kyuquot on Sunday June 9, 2024 from 8:00 am (estimated) to 6:00 pm (estimated). The outage will affect all customers of Kyuquot Power Ltd.

BC Hydro may revise, reschedule or cancel the planned outage at any time. Information is expected to be provided by BC Hydro on their website www.bchydro.com under Planned Outages for Vancouver Island, North. A copy of the BC Hydro outage notification sent to KPL is attached.
